Caucasian shepherd

The origin is not, unfortunately, no direct evidence, but it is a breed, which is not hard to guess how it was formed. It is a breed of so-called natural - that is, they do not in any already existing breed, or breeding of certain breeds. It is here with us at least 600 years. His home is Russia. Since the beginning of his breeding concentrated in the areas of the Caucasus, where he was and still is used to guard and defend.

Farming

The origin of most breeds molossoidnich is derived from Tibetan dogs, as is the case in Caucasian. Breeding was previously held only purpose, was educated mainly to the performance of work, modesty and courage, the appearance was secondary. Nobody failed to breed as it is today. Puppy, which was weak did not survive, as well as individuals were unfit for work destroyed. With farming being carried out as follows more or less contained in different regions and conditions, while the vast area of the former USSR, of course, meant that over the years has created several different types kavkazskeho shepherd. These types of varied color, hair type, nature, but also the construction of the skeleton. In the Czech Republic today, there are only two larger groups, steppe and mountain type. Both types, however, cut,so that even the merger of two mountain-type individuals can be born individuals rather steppe, and vice versa.

History

The beginnings of farming in our country are not easy to obtain individual breeding was not at all simple. After great efforts Rapkovych with spouses in 1980 succeeded to the Czech Republic from the former GDR imported dog and a half years later, both of the dog kennel Von Graucnraber. Taupe female Dunja von Grauenraber and rusty dog Fin Von Grauenraber happened fundamental stones of our breed.
In 1983 the first litter was reared on our territory in the kennel Affected farmers Rapkovych ranch. Thanks to the activity of these enthusiasts are breeding Kao began to develop very promising. Further breeding was above breeders imported from Leningrad excellent dog Irgus,then from Moscow, from a central adviser DOSAAV other dog breed name Adi Das. They left the dogs in our breed many outstanding individuals.
