New gorilla in Prague

On Thursday 24 11. 2005 moved to Prague Zoo lowland gorilla Kamba of the zoo in Dvur Kralove nad Labem. It is the fifth in the order of the animal is currently living in Prague gorilla pavilion. This now triatricetileta female (probably born in 1972 in Cameroon) spent nearly a lifetime in human care, most of the time the couple with their kind Tada. Since 2001, when it was opened in Prague, a new pavilion gorilla, with both gorillas and visitors can get to know Prague Zoo. They lived here in the group even with a young male Pongo and two young females and Shindo Kijivu.
