Asian Garden - Nature to your home

With the participation of approximately 300 sponsors Pilsen zoo animals and public figures of Pilsen and the Pilsen Region was inaugurated this year's new exhibition - Asian Garden.

Newly-up completed the construction phase of the Asian garden Pilsen Zoological and Botanical Garden is a continuation-en Gardens Sowa, built by Japanese experts under strict architectural rules of Japanese garden culture. New planting plants in the East Asian free-style park is completed and the aviary enclosure for birds of the same area. Visitors can see over 800 taxa of plants and about 70 species of birds. Bird showcases exhibitions are supplemented with 6 species of small mammals.

Asian Garden is now home to many species of endangered wild species of plants and animals.After all just a few examples: Edwards' pheasant in Vietnam, considered to be extinct by 2006, Elliot's Pheasant and the White-necklaced partridge in eastern China, and White-naped crane Teal srpopera of North Asia, early spring blooming pink Abeliophyllum distichum growing a few years ago in the past duplicate in Korea, multinervis Fagus beech and maple Acer takesimense of the last remnants of forest on the island of Ullung-in or a single mountain rising lilac Syringa debelderorum.
