The dog is unclean animal?

On some Web sites have recently discovered an interesting report. Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi allegedly issued a fatwa, in which said male animal is unclean and must not be a Muslim raised as a pet. This trend must stop, said Shirazi.

Friendship with dogs is a blind imitation of the West. In the West there are many people who love their dogs more than their wives and children, he warned Ayatollah ungodly.
To be eligible, according to him, only guide dogs and dogs engaged in various professions such as police, Sheep and ochranarsti.
According Siraziho police should fine all Iranians, who carry their dogs is a hydrogen car or in public parks.
But the Quran does not know such a ban. Iranian clerics, however much like to play the prophet Mohammed.
